Hi there! If you’re reading this, then you probably want to know if Zquiet really works or not. After thoroughly researching the product, I noticed that it has unique advantages compared to other snoring solutions. However, it also has some points that could be improved.

This article contains comprehensive information about how it works, how to use it, pros & cons, real reviews, safety information, if it works as promised and more. We also reveal the best deal currently available on the Z-quiet on the last page. By the end of the post, you will be able to make an informed decision on whether or not this product is the solution you seek. (Updated for 2013)

What is Zquiet?

Zquiet is a mouthpiece designed to treat snoring which is manufactured in the USA. According to its website, it has obtained clearance from FDA which implies that the materials used for the product have passed strict consumer safety testing. It does not only signify that the product is safe but also that Zquiet is effective in attaining its purpose which is to treat snoring.

Zquiet is made of soft rubber texture, a thermoplastic elastomer designed for maximum comfort. Unlike other oral anti-snoring devices, it has a living hinge technology that apparently enables you to breathe freely and naturally through your mouth and nose. The product also does not contain latex or Bisphenol A (BPA) to ensure FDA compliance.

Snoring happens when the flow of air through the mouth and nose is obstructed. While the causes may come from a variety of factors, the actual sounds of snoring are mainly caused by the vibration of soft tissues at the back of the throat. These soft tissues are composed of the soft palate, uvula, and tonsils. It is usually the vibration of the first two tissues that restricts the airway passage and creates the snoring noise. To stop the snoring, it is explicable that a widened airspace is needed.

How Does It Work?

Employing the same technique that dentists have used for more than 25 years to cure over 90% of their patients’ snoring issues, Zquiet developed a solution that does not require appointments to the dentist and the high costs the visits involve. You are supposed to experience results the very first time you use it although getting used to it may take some time.

How To Use It

Zquiet is ready and easy to use out of the box. Simply take it out of the case and use the product. No setup involved such as boiling or molding although you can trim the edges to improve the fit. Based on its website, the mouth guard is designed to gently move your lower jaw slightly forward to broaden the airspace in the back of your throat. The living hinge allows the mouthpiece to fit into the mouth and enables you to breathe naturally without restriction. It also shouldn’t stop you from opening and closing your mouth as a natural process while sleeping.

Advantages

  1. Stops Snoring – It stops snoring without the need for surgery or other type of medications
  2. Safe – It is FDA-cleared, meaning it is safe and effective for treating snoring.
  3. Inexpensive – It is relatively cheaper compared to other forms of treatments and massive anti-snoring machines that take up space in the bedroom.
  4. Fast Results – There’s no waiting time for results as the treatment starts the first time you use it.

Disadvantages

  • Some people may experience jaw stiffness and drooling during the first few hours or weeks of use. It takes time to get used to it in your mouth.
  • You can’t wear it if you have full dentures.

I don’t know but my wife told me it works and she’s getting a good night’s sleep now so I think it’s good.

This is a lot easier to use as I don’t need to boil it or something. I tried other mouthguards, the ones you need to heat and mold. I always made a mess and ruined them.

It’s not too comfortable the first use but it’s worth a try. Now I’m getting good sleep and wake up refreshed every morning!

I used it for the first time last night. This was the first time that my fiancé has been able to sleep through the night without being woken by my snoring!

I was advised to lose weight to help reduce my snoring but it didn’t help. Tried many different kinds of anti-snoring solutions but none seemed to work. My wife bought me this and it was uncomfortable the first couple of nights I thought I couldn’t bear it. My wife insisted I try it for at least a week and I’m glad she insisted. It wasn’t easy getting used to it but now I can’t sleep without it.

I thought the ones that equire heating fit better but the one I used before didn’t last long so I tried Zquiet. Just as I expected, the device didn’t fit right into my mouth but after cutting the edges, I got the correct size. It stayed in place and I didn’t have much trouble getting used to it as I was already using oral mouthpieces before.

I’m glad you found a way to make the device fit. The manufacturer claims that it’s supposed to fit nearly everyone but in case the size doesn’t feel comfortable, they’re actually suggesting you cut the edges with scissors and use a fingernail file or emery board to smoothen the edges so your gums don’t get irritated.
